The Heart of Dublin: City Centre Public Realm Masterplan
Following on from the publication of ‘Your City, Your Space; Dublin City Public Realm Strategy’ document in 2012, Dublin City Council, appointed Áit Urbanism + Landscape to conduct a Public Realm Analysis and compile a Public Real Masterplan for the Core City Centre.
Working closely with the DCC Public Realm Team; Áit U + L undertook an extensive process of on street analysis and a review of proposed plans and relevant case studies to compile a baseline snapshot of Dublin’s Core City Centre’s Public Realm.
After the initial analysis and review stage Áit U + L were appointed the main consultant to the DCC Public Realm Team in compiling of ‘The Heart of Dublin: City Centre Public Realm Master Plan’ which was published in December 2016.
