The brief called for the design of unique, contemporary spaces that would encourage residents to engage with outdoor amenities on a compact site. The site is very compact and so two accessible rooftop terraces are provided on the 5th and 7th floors to compensate for the small amount of open space at ground floor level.

Bespoke design items include the cedar clad bin stores, cedar pergola at seventh floor level, bespoke outdoor sofas, and coffee tables on both
the fifth and seventh floor roof terraces, and a bespoke cedar screen on the seventh-floor roof terrace.

All planting chosen for this project has been considered with biodiversity in mind, providing food and shelter for insects and birds where possible. All planting choices were guided by the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan’s Pollinator Friendly Planting Code among other guidance. Planting materials include the pollinator friendly Gleditsia triacanthos and groundcover species such as a variety of Allium species, Lavandula angustifolia, Achillea millefolium, Fritillaria meleagris, Salvia nemerosa amongst many others.
